General Information

Each autumn, one member country hosts the Annual Conference; locations are determined by rotation. At each conference, IMIA draws up resolutions and recommendations for study and presentation, to be performed by its Working Groups for presentation at future conferences.

Standing items on the agenda include statistics on premiums and loss development in member countries. Working Groups also present special reports on topics selected by the members.

The Annual Conference devotes special attention to topics suitable for publication, which subsequently appear in various insurance, technical publications and trade journals.

Next Annual Conference

The next IMIA conference will be held at Berlin, Germany from September 11th to 15th 2010.
