Dear Visitor!

Welcome to the IMIA website!

I hope that you find our website easy to use, accessible and informative.

IMIA - the International Association of Engineering Insurers - comprises a network of engineering insurance experts from around the world, who share their experience and knowledge, and together investigate critical and emerging issues relevant to the Engineering Insurance sector.

Our website is an ideal medium in which knowledge and best practice can be promoted in our specialist field. The number of papers and presentations on topics that IMIA has researched grows year by year and can range from the insurance implications in the construction of offshore wind farms and high tech desalination plants to the analysis of CO2 free coal combustion technologies.

Our website also contains information regarding our constitution, membership and details of the conferences that we hold annually, as well as a wide ranging library of information on Engineering Insurance, Underwriting and Claims matters. In addition annual statistics providing premium volumes and loss performance data of IMIA member countries are also available for review to visitors of our website.
