IMIA Papers - Introduction
Primarily intended for the Insurance Industry
A major contribution at all IMIA conferences is the presentation of papers prepared by chosen delegates on topics of specific interest to Engineering Insurers. The topics are proposed by the delegates at the annual conference each year. Four or five topics are decided upon each year.
From time to time we will also include papers and documents which we believe to be of interest, produced other than by delegates to IMIA Conferences. These are described as External Papers.
We will also include presentations made by guests at our conferences, and these are listed under Presentations by Guests at Conference.
The intention of the papers is to contribute to ongoing discussions amongst insurers about all matters relating to the subject of Engineering Insurance. All IMIA papers are based on the opinions, knowledge and experience of the delegates involved and the information available at the time the papers were written. All externally written papers are published in good faith, but it should be noted that any opinion or declaration may not necessarily be shared by IMIA.
Please note that the majority of these papers contain significant amounts of graphics and pictures and may take some time to download, depending on the speed of your Internet connection. Wherever possible we have published papers in Adobe PDF format, which enables quicker download time and more consistent quality.
All papers published on this web site are free for use as long as both the source and our Disclaimer are mentioned.
