Conferences

Each year IMIA holds an annual conference (usually in September) and in a different country which is attended by delegates from around the world. This provides an opportunity for delegates to share experiences, discuss emerging and critical issues, hear papers prepared by working groups, external speakers, and on statistics, the latest developments in the engineering insurance world and IMIA’s work during the preceding year and its plans for the future.

Members

IMIA members come from Insurance Associations, Insurers, Reinsurers and Companies that are associate members (including brokers, adjusters and lawyers).

History

IMIA started in the 1960s with the post-war industrial boom. In this section you can learn how it has developed up to the present day.
